At just 14 years old, Peter attended the Global Leadership Summit after begging his pastor to let him join. He was told the Summit was for leaders — and he believed leadership was something he needed to learn.

Shortly after, war forced Peter and his family to flee Sudan and seek refuge in a camp in Uganda. In the middle of loss and uncertainty, one message from the Summit stayed with him — a reminder that success is found in helping others succeed.

From teaching children under a tree, to leading in schools, universities, and refugee camps, Peter chose to lead where he was. His story is a powerful example of how leadership — learned early — can bring hope, integrity, and change to entire communities.
